Slant load vs straight load for two horses
Owners often ask which trailer style is “better.” The honest answer: it depends on the horses, the trip, and the handlers. Here is why we run a 2-horse slant-load.
What we operate
A 2011 2-horse slant-load bumper pull with padded stalls, rubber matting, multiple fans, rear and side ramp, and drop-down feed windows. Max capacity: two horses per trip.
Why slant-load works for our service
- Fits our boutique, appointment-based model (one or two horses)
- Ramp options help with calm loading and unloading
- Ventilation and padding are maintained before and after every use
When owners prefer other setups
Some horses are trained only for straight stalls or box stalls. If your horse has a strong preference or medical need, tell us on the quote form — we will say clearly whether our trailer is a fit rather than force a bad match.
